STEP 2 : ADDITIONAL FILE INFORMATION

  • Step 2 of 6:

    • Enter a delimiter for the source file. For example [“, | \n]

    • Supply the date format that is used within the source file.

    • Select the indexes which will be included in the source file- These are measurement indexes of the utilities.

    • You now need to indicate whether the file has a header and/or a footer row. - Headers rows differ from the rest of the source file as they typically define the contents of each column. A footer is much the same as the header row, but defines the contents of the last row of the source file.

    • The date format needs to be entered as follows: YYYY-DD-MM. The values might be changed based on the date format of the file you are uploading.

    • The indexes you select must be based on the indexes that are present in your file you are uploading. Eg, if your file is for reading water meters, than only the index “kl” must be selected

  • A .out file will usually contain a heard and a footer only.
